I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
